Shouka looks really big in this photo lol and I can't believe it's been almost a year since her transfer, sort of feels like yesterday.

Shouka was born in Marineland Antibes in France, and was moved to Six Flags World of Adventure (in Ohio) in May 2002. She was moved again to Six Flags Discovery Kingdom in April 2004. Shouka was mostly alone in Six Flags Discovery Kingdom, but she had a few dolphins with her for a few years but they were moved out in 2012 so she had no cetacean companions for a while. She was moved by Marineland to SeaWorld California in August 2012. :)

By the way - sorry if some of this info is incorrect, I did the best I could!

That what an orca also known as. A sea panda. Because they're black and white like pandas. Orcas or killer whales are considered as "the pandas of the seas". I found out that killer whales are really dolphins, not whales. The largest and strongest species of dolphin.

Yep. The males are larger and have larger fins than the females. There's four ecotypes of killer whales.

Yep. Type D is the most recently found type of killer whales. They have small patches. What's your favorite killer whale type?
